Her machine-typed texts and neon lights make this work, which she calls “the tools of language”, a conceptual quest, in line with the urban landscapes she tirelessly creates and reinvents, unfolds and intellectualizes. Whether it’s “elle me rend marteau”, “laisse béton”, “vis-à-vis”, or “radieuse” – in reference to Le Corbusier – Iseult Labote remains true to her passion for urban planning and architecture. In an essentially masculine world, her feminine gaze captivates us with its poetry.
